TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Boil Club®

1. About Us

The Boil Club® provides seafood boil kits for home preparation. Our kits contain uncooked seafood and accompanying ingredients, which must be prepared by the customer in accordance with the cooking guide provided.

By placing an order with The Boil Club®, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.


2. Product Information

Our seafood boil kits include (where applicable):

  • Uncooked seafood

  • Extras

  • Sauce mix

  • Butter

  • Garlic

  • Boiling herb mix

  • Chilli powder

  • Cooking guide card

All products are supplied uncooked and are intended to be prepared by the customer. Customers are responsible for ensuring correct preparation, cooking times, and food safety practices.


3. Customer Responsibility

  • Customers must follow the cooking guide provided with each kit.

  • The Boil Club® is not responsible for the final outcome if instructions are not followed correctly.

  • Taste preferences are subjective, and dissatisfaction with flavour or results due to personal preference or incorrect preparation is not grounds for a refund.


4. Delivery Information

We deliver using DPD and operate the following delivery schedule:

Standard Delivery

  • Orders placed Monday–Friday before 12pm
    → Delivered the next day

  • Orders placed after 12pm (Monday–Friday)
    → Delivered on the next available delivery day

  • Orders placed Saturday or Sunday
    → Delivered on Tuesday

Premium Saturday Delivery

  • Orders placed Thursday after 12pm up to Friday 12pm
    → Delivered on Saturday

❌ No Sunday deliveries are available.

Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by factors outside our control, including courier delays or weather conditions.


5. Failed or Missed Deliveries

  • Customers must ensure delivery details are accurate at checkout.

  • We are not responsible for failed deliveries caused by incorrect address information or the customer not being available to receive the parcel.

  • Missed deliveries or delays caused by the courier are handled in line with our Refund Policy below.


6. Perishable Goods Policy

Due to the perishable nature of our seafood boil kits:

  • We do not accept returns or exchanges

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once dispatched

This policy is in line with UK consumer law regarding perishable food items.


7. Refund Policy

Refunds or replacements are only considered if there is an internal fault with the shipment, such as:

  • Incorrect items supplied

  • Damaged or spoiled products on arrival

  • Missing items

To request a refund or replacement:

  • You must contact us within 24 hours of delivery

  • Clear photographic evidence must be provided

  • The product must not have been prepared or consumed

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Customer preparation errors

  • Failure to follow cooking instructions

  • Taste preferences

  • Delays caused by the courier where the package arrives intact and within a reasonable timeframe

All approved refunds or replacements are issued at our discretion.


8. Food Safety Disclaimer

  • Customers are responsible for storing products correctly upon delivery.

  • Seafood must be kept refrigerated and used within the recommended timeframe.

  • The Boil Club® is not liable for illness or issues arising from improper storage, handling, or cooking.


9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The Boil Club® shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses

  • Our liability is limited to the value of the order placed

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights.


10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version in force at the time of purchase will apply.


11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
